Address employee experience now, get better assignments later

Calling all mobility managers and HR leaders: When selecting employees for international assignments, don't forget about the emotional experience and challenges ahead for them. Whenever possible (I know it's not always feasible), candidate assessment and cultural training — before the assignment — can help prepare the employee for the challenges ahead.
