How does design thinking and mobility intersect?

Increasing the employee experience in regard to mobility is no easy feat. Companies continue to find efficiencies in this realm by reviewing and enhancing their current mobility programs.

It can be noted that reshaping the employee experience using the same methodologies we always have used will not gain the most efficiencies or the best outcomes. This is where design thinking comes into play.

Design thinking comes down to fully understanding the needs of your employees to provide a better outcome, an innovative alternative, if you will. In order for this to be successful, it is imperative that mobility managers and their relocation vendors have the same understanding of the approach and the desired outcome.
