SOC 2 certification has been achieved for Plus One and Point C!

For those of us who have spent any time with Plus's technology team recently, we know that their lives have been pretty busy. Between the hard work put into enhancing our client-facing and employee-facing technology platforms, they have also been investing hundreds of hours into finalizing the process for obtaining SOC 2 certification for our sister company Plus One. Because of the amazing work from our technology team and everyone else who has helped support this, we are so excited to announce that Plus One and Point C are now officially SOC 2 Type 2 compliant!

If you are unfamiliar with what SOC 2 certification is, it's the modern gold standard for data security and user privacy. It is a certificate that says a company has achieved the highest level of security controls and can be trusted as a software and technology security leader. This is a huge step for us! Achieving SOC 2 certification is an arduous and time-consuming process for any company, especially a mid-size company like Plus. However, with this level of compliance, Plus is now positioned for the future as an industry leader in security and data integrity.

I think it's important to note that not only did we achieve certification, but the external auditors responsible for looking at our level of compliance gave us the highest marks in all categories. To me, this is a testament to the incredible work of everyone who has made this certification happen, and it's just one more piece of evidence that proves how well Plus operates as a company. Our systems now measurably meet the same standards as many of the world's top technology companies, giving our clients even more reason to trust how we handle their data.

In the near future, we will also be pursuing SOC 2 Type 2 certification for Plus Relocation, but for now, please join me in congratulating Plus One, Point C, and everyone who invested time into this massive project!
