It might be crazy to think about, but 2022 is just around the corner! That means that we’re coming up on two years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. The country — and the whole world — is in a very different place compared to the end of 2019.
Turning the page from 2021 to 2022 is also a great time to look ahead. What trends might be on the horizon? There are encouraging signs that international travel is primed for a big rebound next year. Perhaps travelers will be particularly inclined to go to cities that score well for safety, as the pandemic has brought renewed focus on public health and emergency preparedness.
How about trends specific to the corporate mobility industry? Halfway through this year, we started looking at a few key things that were bubbling up, including a rise in alternative move types, and an increasing number of DE&I and sustainability initiatives within organizations and mobility programs.
