We are very excited to share details about the next session of the 2024 Corporate Global Mobility Mentorship Program, which is back by popular demand! This program was created to address the need for coaching and support within the mobility industry as identified by clients, prospects, and industry peers. The initiative is designed to foster professional development, knowledge exchange, and networking among corporate mobility professionals through a semi-structured mentorship framework. For a post that we shared previously about the program, go here.
The inaugural session of the Mentorship Program kicked off coming into the new year back in January and finished at the end of May. The feedback from the participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Here are just a few quotes from the 64 participants:
"I feel like I completely lucked out with who I was paired with. [My mentor] has been a wealth of knowledge and is always open to sharing her thoughts and suggestions to help me further my understanding of mobility. I've gotten to know her and have really enjoyed our conversations! I cannot recommend this mentorship enough."
"I was happy to meet a peer in a totally different industry and region, with different priorities and practices. This stretched my thinking and provided the opportunity to explore how practices which I am familiar with can be applied in different areas."
“I didn't have expectations going into this program, but it was one I thoroughly enjoyed. Great rapport and networking opportunity. I appreciated being able to get feedback on real time concerns/issues. Melissa provided great insight and also provided resources as well.”
Don't miss out! For this next session, the application period runs from July 5 through July 23 and the intention is to have mentors and mentees assigned and introduced to each other by August 1, 2024. The program runs through the end of December 2024. There is no cost to participate. Mentors and mentees will be volunteering the time and knowledge to each other. We look forward to the ongoing positive impact this initiative will have for those able to participate!
As an FYI: This is not a Plus Relocation service and we derive no revenue from this program.
We are simply volunteering our support and organization to advance the initiative.
